Concept

Digital sovereignty

Your writing, your mail and your name living on things you own, not on a platform that can take them away.

What it is

Digital sovereignty, the way I use it, means my writing, my email and my name live on domains I own, not on Meta, Medium or another company’s platform. If a platform changes its rules, sells, or disappears, my work stays where it is.

It’s less a technology than a stance: the place you publish shouldn’t be able to evict you.

How it shows up for me

This site exists because of it. In 2025 I got tired of building on someone else’s land and moved everything here. It’s slower and nobody’s algorithm is helping me, but it’s mine.
