What it is
Owning what’s yours to answer for: your choices, your messes, and the people who depend on you. It also points forward. Responsibility isn’t only cleaning up after the past, it’s preparing for what comes next.
How it shows up for me
As a father, a lot of it is money and time: making sure the people I love are covered, even when it costs me. At 40 it also means things like writing a will, which I joke about but take seriously. Where I have to watch myself is the line between responsibility and control. Taking on everything isn’t responsible. It’s just heavy.
