Clear signals

Ambiguity is expensive. Ask for clean, clear signals, and give them.

What it is

A rule for relationships of any kind: from here on, clean and clear signals. The bar lives there now. If someone wants access, they meet you at that clarity, or they stay on the old line.

Ambiguity is expensive. Confusion drains the parts of you that took years to rebuild. Clear signals are a form of energy conservation.

How it shows up for me

I wrote it after a connection faded without either of us saying so. I’d spent weeks decoding silence. Now I’d rather say the plain thing, and I’m much less patient with games.

The other half is holding myself to it. I’m not always clear either, especially when I’m afraid of the answer.
