What it is
This is my own definition, from September 2026: “Love is the best for each individual without attachment. It includes the individual and their health, very objectively, as objectively as we can get.”
It’s a test more than a feeling. You can check an action against it: is this the best for that person, or the best for my need to be needed?
How it shows up for me
I use it as a measuring stick even for big things. I wrote the same day that love “has to be objective enough to judge scripture.” If a teaching can’t pass the test of love, I don’t think it deserves my obedience.
