What it is
The supremacist engine isn’t any one bigotry. It’s the structural move underneath them: sorting humanity into a worthy in-group and a disposable remainder. Specific bigotries are just instances. The sorting is the engine.
That’s why it survives changes of costume. Swap “race” for “intelligence” or “productivity,” and the engine keeps running.
How it shows up for me
I catch it in myself when I’m tired and judgmental: “people like that.” It’s quieter than hate, and it’s the same machine. Dignity from birth is my answer to it. Nobody gets sorted out.
