What it is
Attachment banking is putting connection in before you need it. My version is about thirty minutes in the morning and thirty at night, at the hinges of the day, of attention that isn’t split with a phone or a chore.
The idea is wholesale connection to prevent retail conflict. A kid who got real time at breakfast has less reason to fight for it at six in the evening.
How it shows up for me
When I skip the deposits, I pay for it later in meltdowns and negotiations. When I make them, the house is calmer and I’m calmer. It costs an hour a day and saves me more than that.
