What it is
A rule for working with AI: it does the infrastructure, the moving, organizing and plumbing, the work I like directing but not executing. The writing that carries my ideas comes from my own fingers, or my own voice. The more I write myself, the better the quality. Effort equals results.
How it shows up for me
Two refinements. Dictation counts as my own words: the end result is the same, my ideas on paper, honestly. And light polish is fine on simple material. If I’m explaining that a ball is red, I don’t mind a little softening.
Where it stops is polish that removes a brake, or finishes a raw line I meant to leave raw. That’s no longer clarity. It’s someone else’s voice.
